First United Methodist Church has a lot to offer anyone who is looking to grow deeper in Christ amongst friends from all different walks of life.

Sunday school offered at 10:15 on Sunday morning. We have many to pick from, one specifically for those who are 18 to 25, and as well as other cross generational classes. Also, periodically we have small groups that meet during the week to dive in deep on study materials that correlate with a sermon series.

Alpha Course in the Fall Semester-

“Alpha is a ten-week course about the basics of the Christian faith developed at Holy Trinity Brompton, Anglican Church in London, England. It enables people to explore the validity and relevance of Christianity in an informal, friendly environment that allows for plenty of discussion.” (Alphausa.org)

Fundraisers- Are you in need of some help doing a fundraiser out in the community? Email jerikris@fumcss.com and she can let you know about some different things FUMC can do to help! In the past we have offered meals to the community and hosted concerts to help raise money and awareness.

Wednesday nights- FREE MEAL FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS. Come enjoy homemade food that the caf can’t compare to.

Looking to volunteer? We have many opportunities! Including helping with Youth, Children, Cooking, Music (for both the traditional and celebration/contemporary services), and our Media/Technology team. Email jerikris@fumcss.com if you have an interest in any of these areas or would like to do an internship.
