Worship Arts

The Worship Ministry of FUMC, under the direction of our Worship Arts Minister, JeriKris Langston, is committed to leading people into the presence of God.  Our music is both contemporary and traditional with exciting opportunities for anyone who desires to become a part of one of our teams.

 
CHOIR-
The FUMC Chancel Choir is a growing and fun choir. Rehearsals are Wednesday night from 7-8. Anyone and Everyone with a love of music and singing is welcome to join. The Chancel Choir is under the leadership of Randy Murphy.

HAND BELLS-
The FUMC Hand Bell’s are a talented and dedicated group of musicians. If you are interested in joining, they rehearse from 6-7 on Wednesday night. Stop by to listen and discuss participation.

CELEBRATION BAND-
The FUMC Celebration Band leads contemporary Christian worship music for the 9:00 am Celebration Service on Sunday mornings. The Celebration Band is always looking for new talent to participate in the Band. If you would like to schedule an audition, please contact jerikris@fumcss.com.

DRAMA -
The FUMC Drama Ministry is a growing ministry with huge potential. We have recently started doing original drama productions on Easter and Christmas, with live music, drama and dance. We are also growing the use of drama in our Sunday morning services, whether through dramatic scripture readings, readers theaters, or small skits. FOOTPRINTS -
We have recently revitalized the dance ministry at FUMC. We are excited to see where God will lead as we begin dancing as an expression of worship. We are looking to do a summer camp with a week of beginner dance basics for kids of all ages. If you are interested in participating please email jerikris@fumcss.com.
