Pray for each other so that you may be healed

Philippians 2:12-13 “continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”

“work out” means to bring completion. No human knows how long that process will take in their life. From the moment of conversion (when we were justified by faith in Jesus Christ through asking Him to forgive our sins and live within) we allow God the Father to fill us with His Holy Spirit, His power, so that we can do what is right, what we really want to do, instead of being overcome by temptation. It is a moment by moment day by day choice.

Will we let God be the pilot of our life today? Will we invite Him to power our ship through the stream of life? We are part of the crew, not just a passenger, on this trip. Will you pray with me “Guide and fill me with power, Father. I don’t want to go through the day alone, depending on only my own resources!”?

Will you pray for others God has placed around you? James 5:17 says, “pray for each other so that you may be healed”.
